Hmmm. So, I told a guy I've had feelings for that I liked him yesterday. I literally went up to him and told him that I have feelings for him...I kind of blurted out that we can't be friends because of that. I hate being vulnerable, so I was on the defense from moment one. And...I didn't really let him get a word in on purpose (In cause he didn't feel the same way). I think he was kind of, err, shocked...Either because I like him, or either because I bluntly stated it. Uhmm. I knew that it may make this awkward, or even ruin our friendship, but I thought being brave and honest is the best option, instead of having it weight on my conscience. I stay at home with my 3.5 month old daughter everyday. She is not an easy baby but I am very glad I am able to stay home with her. We do not live some extravagant life but our bills are not so much that we both need to work right now. My husband does landscaping and makes decent money. We both wake up around the same time each morning and go to bed the same time each night (usually midnight since that's when our baby goes to sleep right now, and we wake up around 6 am). The problem is he gets home every night on average around 6 pm and basically just pes out. he doesn't come home and go to bed he sits in his chair and just falls asleep. and then it takes me a good 20 minutes to get him up when i need his help. literally. i cant just wake him. it doesn't even seem normal to me. i wake him and he talks in his sleep and then sitting up will just p back out. he cant even keep his eyes open. i am sick of it. i am home all day with a infant and i need help sometimes at night. right now he is ped out and has been for a while, the baby is wide awake and i was in the shower and i come out and he is sleeping soundly in his chair while she is wide awake just staring at him. MANY men do labor type jobs and are able to stay awake when they come home. his mother babies him like crazy and before i met him yrs ago and he lived with her everyday when he came home from work she would tell him to go take a nap. so this is what he has done for years even before he met me but we have a baby now and i have absolutely had it. it would be different if he would wake up when i needed him but like i said it takes at least 20 minutes to wake him up once he is asleep. i know 6 hours isn't a ton of sleep but its not like he gets 1 hour a night. i don't know what to do anymore he just refuses to stop. and i am not inconsiderate if he needed to take an nap some nights that would be fine, sometimes i do, but this is CONSTANT and i am sick of being afraid to leave the room when he is home because i know for a fact he will be sleeping within seconds and the baby will be wide awake alone with no one talking to her or inter acting with her. i want to be with a guy who comes home and stays awake and spends time with his family. is this at all normal? does anyone else have this issue?

Today at school we had a sub. but at recess my wrist was hurting and I was holding it because it really hurt! I was madly in love with a guy that moved away from me. The typical young guy who went away to study (in WA). At first I never wanted him to begin with but i thought being the kind and accepting person that I am i should always give others a chance. I ended up letting my guard down by falling in love and becoming his girlfriend. He and i had a special chemistry but the distance and the influence he was under broke us. like most long distance relationships we ended but on his terms. He cut off all contact with me and i suffered tremendously. came to find out that after that he was already seeing other people and well months after i finally was able to hear from him. I called one day because I was being fed so many stories. I couldn't handle speculating and i was so destroyed by the break up i became pathetic. When i was finally able to hear the "truth" he told me in "under the influence" that he cared about somebody else and that i was just the past, that being faithful to me was difficult and the love was not there. He even said "yeah you loved me but our relationship just didn't work out" as if my feelings were something to be taken lightly. I was so shocked and till this day can't believe the guy that i fell in love, who never disrespected me wanted me completely out of his life. I would ask God to help me and to help him because this person was somebody i didn't know existed. I was destroyed because even after hearing that i still loved him and still had faith in him. Everybody would tell me that i didn't deserve that and that karma never discriminates that what goes around comes around but what hurts me the most is that he didn't even have a heart to tell me sorry or even cared about how he hurt me. He left me and cut me out because he didn't want to deal with the break up and so much me, but he never realized how he dumped all problems on me and well i left alone to deal and suffer. If only there was a verse or Godly advice for me. if only i could have peace but all I do is hurt because i feel like no justice had been served for me. He didn't even have any remorse towards my feelings and this guy supposedly loved me? I start to wonder if this guy was ever faithful and even then I still care and don't carry any animosity. I get angry and cry myself to sleep at times but i also rethink and tell myself to forgive and try to understand his point of view. Now i struggle with peace restoration and deliverance, i even doubt that any good will come my way and that everything is going great for him despite the fact that he is a non-christian and lives a sinful life.

Last night my friend (I'm a guy) and two other girls took a cab to another college about 6 miles away. We went to go into this frat party and they wouldnt let me in without and id and I realized I forgot my wallet. It's not the shelter but the folks who allow their dogs to run loose & get picked up or surrender their pets. Small dogs have more people willing to adopt so they typically don't end up at the shelters as often as large/giant dogs. The majority of dogs at my shelter are large unfixed males - surrendered or picked up. These dogs are the hardest to find homes for the right owners who want to work with them, afford them & the grooming cost/shedding dark hair. Many rentals don't even allow dogs over 25lb if at all.

it strikes me that is kind of email is generally sent from nigeria or another african group of scammers. i have received many of these and if you follow through they generally gain your trust and bank info. they clean your a/c before you know it. if you get caught up with a mob like this then be aware that violence and death are part of their scam. it is supposed to convince you of real money coming your way.no such luck as it is a dirty greedy scam and most are worded almost the same. steer clear and add to spam is my advice. if you had some experience of this type of scam you could lead them on for a long time thus preventing them from doing the same to some other innocent. i lead them to a safe distance before dropping them but i dont go too far.

If you are having unprotected then there is a chance you could be pregnant but even if you are trying to time it right it doesn't mean you 'should' be pregnant. The human body is a complex and mysterious thing and sometimes doesn't work the way we want it to. It may take several months of trying before you time conception exactly right. You are testing a bit too soon to know if you are pregnant after having towards the end of February. Give it a couple of weeks and then test again and yes you can test any time you like! Unless you are using OPK's (ovulation prediction kit) then most people don't know exactly when they are ovulating so yes you can test then! And without meaning to sound nasty can I point out that it's spelled 'pregnant' not 'pregant'! Good luck!

ACL tear or just a bad sprain?

I was recovering from ACL surgery until I played b-ball and my knee gave out when someone much bigger than I ran me over. I felt/heard a pop and was in pain. That was about 30 days ago. Saw my dr last friday, he checked my knee (no MRI) and said he felt two end points, he doesnt think the acl is torn and he thinks it's just a bad sprain and I should be good in about a month. Is it possible the pop I heard could be another ligament damaged? Anyone think I should request an MRI in a month or just go with the Dr's word?

Does dyslexia cause weird mind problems?

My friend is dyslexic, and there's a few things I'm wondering about it. I was told, not by the family, that dyslexia is entirely a visual disorder, and nothing odd. They seem to blame A LOT on his dyslexia. They say that every time he guesses something right, it's because of it. They also say that dyslexia causes letters in books to walk across the paper and for random black dots to appear on his vision, and every now and then he apparently sees through a wall. I am a witness to him seeing through a wall. I am buying a new used car. I am considering either an explorer sport or firebird. I live in pa near phily. I live in the country not in a city. Snow can get real bad here during 4 months out of the year. Would the 4wd of the explorer be worth getting for the few storms we get over those months. Compressing video for youtube?

Im trying to find some good settings to use to compress a video I've made in iMovie 4 so I can upload it to youtube as my first Youtube video ever. I plugged a camcorder into my 4:3 non HD tv to record some Call of Duty games. Surprisingly the quality was pretty good I have no problem reading any of the text or anything like that. I've finished editing the video I want to upload, which I did in iMovie 4. I cant figure out how to find the size of the whole video but all it is, is a 5 minute 9 second game and the video for the game is 1.05 GB, the song is 48.7 MB and the title screen thing is 13.4 MB in iMovie 4. So the whole thing together should be like 1.056 GB. That .006 GB i just added is pretty negligible I know but I didnt want you thinking I was ignoring the music and stuff I added, or something. I do have a .mov of the video as it was edited but the file size is only 64 KB for some reason and not surprisingly it wont upload to YouTube, but the quality is very close to what it is in iMovie, its just a little brighter. I've already tried compressing the file using setting I found on some website but the quality of the compressed video was pretty damn bad. Can anyone recommend some settings I could use to compress without losing much quality in my video or music? If you need any more information you can just ask, I dont really know what you need to take into consideration when compressing so I dont know what else to tell you as of now. I'll be check back pretty often so I can add details if needed.

Wipe any goo from your kitten's eye with a damp tissue. The goo tends to irritate the eye and make it sore. Just wipe it gently once or twice a day. My vet told me this many years ago. My wife is a workaholic she have a stressfull job, she have a fulltime and part time job, she taking cles, and her grandfather is in the early stage of Dementia which will lead to Alzheimer's. Okay, I'm using Apache to run a personal server from my computer. I have it setup where only my psp can connect to to my computer. I've made a pseudo website that has lets me browse a folder for music, photos, and flash games that can be veiwed from my psp. The only problem is that I can't get a either an html slideshow nor a kind of thumbnail view of my photos without going through and adding each and every photo by hand into the code. What I'd like is some type of script that automatically generates one of the two for me. Something that I can point into the direction of my image directory and let it go to work for me. Dogs are fighting over dominance?

I got a puppy[Golden Retriver back in march last year, and now he just turned one. I have a mini schnauzer who i've had for 3-4 years who is now five. Recently the two dogs have been fighting. The schnauzer always barks and jumps up on me, almost aggressively, trying to get my attention.Some times he runs up and gets in the Golden's face, thats when the fights started. The fights only happen when im with the dogs, and the fights stop when i leave. [there has only been 3-4 fights,none of them have been too bad].On one of the fights, i saw the golden standing over the schnauzer with his tail up and when i run over there they start to fight. Are they fighting for my attention? Are they fighting over dominance? Or is the Golden annoyed by the schnauzer? How do i fix this?

9 &1/2 wks and doc hasn't seen me yet?! what gives?!!!?

Some places won't see you until you are 10 weeks along. My sister is 10 weeks now and her first appointment isn't until the 23rd. They wouldn't even schedule her until she was at least 10 weeks. She lives in South Dakota. I live in Kentucky and they schedule you for a couple days after you call telling them you are pregnant. It all depends on where you live and the doctors near you. If you are that uncomfortable about not being seen, look up OB/GYN's in your phone book and see if you can't find another one that can schedule you sooner. I would be stressed about it too, but without finding another doctor there isn't much you can do.

This happens to me all the time. If you NEED to put your contacts on are they get dry just rinse out in water its harmless. Its just harmlees if you set them in water and leave them in there. I was playing basketball one time and my contacts fell out of my eyes i had no solution with me. So i got a water bottle dumped a little water on my contacts and put them back in with no promblem. But when I got home i made sure i cleaned them out with solution. So you will be ok

Possible placenta previa?

I just posted a question a couple of days ago....but I have some more questions. My next sonogram isn't scheduled until the 10th of April....and I don't want to be seem before then...(too many visits...) um....I did mention something about mucous with some blood....and just recently I've been having a lot of pressure in my pelvic area....and it hurts when I have ...I know that personal....but I'm just curious....every so often (throughout the day) I get sharp pains in my abdomine.....I was wondering if anybody knows what may be wrong? If it could be placenta previa? The only reason I thought about it possibly being placenta previa is because a nurse mentioned something about it when I called the hospital about the mucous....I have had a previous c-section before...and that does pose a risk for a possible placenta previa in a later pregnancy. I've heard about embryonic stem cell research being legalized. I'm all for stem cell research, considering the ways they can help people. However, I know there are other ways to get stem cells, like from the umbilical cord after birth. I know that cord or adult stem cells are multipotent (rather than totipotent or pluripotent) and far more limited in their development than embryonic stem cells, but with research those barriers could probably be surped without continuing something as controversial as the embryonic research. My child was taken in by DHS. I asked them why and all they would tell me is that it was because a offender lives next door. Then I asked for paperwork and they did not have any. I don't think so. I know someone who was, i guess, born with speech problems and therfore had a bit of a lisp. But I also know people who developed lisps from braces and other orthodontal work. As a biochemistry graduate student, I understand a lot about neurons (action potentials, neurotransmitters, all that good stuff), white/grey matter, different lobes of the brain. Sounds like at the present time your older brother may be in need of some additional guidance from your ma and grandma. If it becomes too upsetting then please do tell them what is upsetting you and hopefully they will try to accomodate your feelings also. But realize that at this moment in time although they may not be showing it they do love you as much as he but just think that he needs their help and guidance a little more then you. Sounds like your a pretty good kid and pretty self aware and mature for your age so continue to be like this. Trust me when I tell you how much your behaviour makes it easier on them to try and overcompensate with your brother. Worried about moving to a bad area because of my daughter and her going to school there?

I finally found an apartment that I can afford but its in a bad area of anaheim. Lots of gangs and hispanics, most don't speak english. I lived in that area before and I don't have anything racial against anyone. I'm just worried because its so overcrowded.. 8 or so people living in 1 bedroom apartments, parents letting 3 and 4 year olds ride their bikes in the busy residential street.. And even worse the schooling is terrible due to overcrowding. I'm in school at the moment full time and working full time only making 10 an hour in orange county is nothing. How bad do you think a bad school will effect my daughter if its for a year or 2 while I find a better paying job and at least have my AA working on my BS? She is 6 and in kindergarten. She goes to a GREAT public school now which would be only about 15 mins away from the apartment I'm looking at. Are schools willing to let children stay if you move but aren't exactly in the right zone or area for that school? Orange and Anaheim, CA.

Please help... my sister is struggling?

she's struggling alot. she's in a very hypersensitive mode. things are bothering her that really shouldn't, and she knows that, but she feels like she can't control it. she's diagnosed with asperger's. she also has pure o, which causes her anxiety pretty much all day. she's anxious about many things. she says that mainly she fears someone getting mad at her and taking something very important to her out of her life. she won't say what that is. she feels like it's a bad idea to say. she's complaining about pain in her stomach, and breaks down crying every now and then. she says she can feel her heart beating and just wants to scream. she also feels like she has to keep tabs on the way she behaves. she says she obsesses alot over trying to be perfect in who she wants to be, and feels like if she lets go of that, she'll become some person she fears being. last, she's losing alot of sleep. she's often up really late at night on her worse days. once, she couldn't fall asleep until 6am. she feels like she's a prisoner to her mind. she's improved with getting to sleep earlier, but she really wants to change. she's been going through this much more extremely for the past 2 years, and she says she can't really even remember what it feels like to have a clear mind and be in a peaceful state. how can she improve this condition? i noticed that she tells me she trys to stop, but that itself just gives her more anxiety, and that she's studied so much of her anxiety patterns and trying to find ways to maneuver around it. when she can't do it, she gets frustrated.

I have a 5 gallon tank with four Pseudomugil gertrudae, two algae-eating shrimp, and a few Malaysian trumpet snails and a multitude of plants. The crypts (2), Java fern (3), Java moss, and watersprite are doing well, but the two microswords I bought are turning increasingly pale. I have two fluorescent lights on the tank, a 15W plant light and a 15W full spectrum, use Black Onyx sand for a substrate (made for plants) and add just a little Kent Botanica "Grow" once a week. What can I do to get the microswords back to the dark green they were when I bought them?

C section or l w/ epidurol?

ok, i am 19 years old, im married so please give facts not opinions on having babys this young im not some high schooler who got knocked up, im not even pregnant yet... anyways. i have a very small waist i weigh about 115, im up in the air on how i want a baby delivered, i really dont want to go through that much pain so if i can have it naturally i want an epidurol. i guess my question is can i choose to have a c- section or does the doctor decide that, and with me being tiny (i cant even go througha pap smear without having a fit) will a c section be the best route to go?

Dog Food and runny poop?

I switched my dogs to the Canidae all stages food about 2 weeks ago from Purina One lamb and rice. Well, about the time that I switch the food, my dane started have runny poop. I thought that it was because he was on meds for coughing and just the new food. Well, he still has the runny poop but has been off the meds for about a week. I brought a sample to my vet and nothing was found. Could the food be too much for him? Any suggestions?

It has been said that we all have a reason for being here. If this is true, then we are each and every one a significant piece of the universe, albeit a small section. I have pondered this for years, trying to figure out my purpose, and have come to the conclusion that I am here to be a help to those who have need of it. Much of the time, I feel it is I who need the help, but at other times I am able to say or write something that will give a bit of piece to a troubled mind, and that makes me feel good. Okay, so how did Guille Franco and Oscar Perez's experience help today?

Guille Franco never scored a goal today in the 60 minutes that he played and he missed badly on his 3 shots (2 off his head and 1 he shot directly to the goalkeeper). With the exception of these 3 opportunities Guille struggled to find an opening and this was because Guille was too slow to separate and keep up with Vela and Dos Santos. Conejo Perez proved that he was too old to jump high enough and too short to get his hands on the goal by Siphiwe Tshabalala. If Conejo was just a little bit taller and younger he would have been able to jump high enough to block the shot. Too bad we don't have a goalkeeper to block that kind of shot--oh wait, we do? It's Guillermo Ochoa!!! So why did dumb Aguirre bench him! Costly mistake. Javier Hernandez moved faster in the box and was able to draw defenders off of Marquez when Guardado fired a cross to Marquez who made the goal. It may not have been a goal, but he did what Franco failed to do and that was draw and move the defense around allowing Marquez to get open. Vela should have never been taken out for Blanco as Blanco was ineffective, no surprise, and we lost speed towards the end of the game. We had speed and pressure with Vela only to lose it as the game progressedadn Blanco's legs began to give out. Daniel Brailovsky said it best on ESPN Deportes, "The only thing experience gives you are old and soft legs." Blanco, Perez, and Franco only proved his point today.

Trying to find work at home?

Hi, I am looking for a job where I can work at home. I am in a wheelchair and have been all my life. I find it difficult to get out, yet alone, find a job. I can not do anything strenuous due to my disability, but am great on computers! The way the government works, it's impossible to live off of what they give! It frustrates me that there are people out there who are able to get out and work..but are just to damn lazy. I have my grade 12 diploma and am wanting to make an honest living. If anyone has any answers to how I can work at home, that would be greatly appreciated.

I am confused on whether or not I have a learning disability or just a memory issue?

OK.....I have CP on the right side of my body. So, I do write sloppy. I mean, it takes me too much time to write neat so I just write so it is legible for me. Whatever. So it's not that that would be considered a "learning disability" like dyslexia. And, I don't have problems with understanding. I have short-term memory problems. I only retain about half of what I read the 1st time. But, I have the memory capacity of anyone else. I mean, I can remember everything I read or hear if I read or hear it enough. I have went to college and studied business, and, at my best, I was a 97% student. In fact, my 2nd year I had to "leave" because of bi-polar disorder. When I was leaving, I was avg 65% in those cles. Barely ping. When I went back to school after a year or so and took the same cles, I avg a 97. SO, I increased my avg over 30%. And, I don't think my 97 was because of a lake of intellegience. What I mean is, I could have earned a 99 if I didn't make so many mistakes. But, I have no processing problems at all. In fact, I can read about 1,000 wpm. It's not like I am brilliant nor anything like that, but I never have a problem with understanding things in school or in life at all. Is understanding intellegience or are they different entities? I just wondered if having memory problems was really a learning disability? Technically it sounds absurd to call what I have a memory problem since I can remember everything in the end, but I guess the CP just makes it so I have to read it many times to remember. But, again, I have to go over it many times. It's only to remember. I understand everything the 1st time I hear or see it.

me and my boyfriend got together in 2008 and fell in love immediately....he lives in london and im up north so its quite a distance after a couple of months i fell pregnant and in the meantime he quit his job and moved up north to be with us but due to no work he ended up moving back down to his hometown whilst im stuck up here raising our now 18month old baby boy....hes begged me to give it a go down his end but i know it wouldnt work...due to his job he works nights and even when i go down to visit i never see him as he works nights hes asleep during the day so me and our son only see him for a hour if that while he gets ready to go back to work again and im stuck in a place i dont know still not getting a break or getting to see him...now hes been given the oppurtunity to move in with his uncle in brighton and wants me and our son to move with him...i have my family and friends up here if i ever need help or a night to myself and fear if i move down to brighton with him i will get depressed....our little boy can be a nightmare at times its not easy doing it alone and sometimes when things get on top of me i take it out on my boyfriend saying how he should be here to help out more...i understand he needs to work but sometimes his work seems to take more priority over us being together as a family....if i move down and dont like it at least i can say i tried but at the same time i dont want to confuse my son by moving him about all the time...i love my bf very much and want us to make it work any advice please? and thanks in advance

How skinny must my legs be to wear short shorts or leggings?

im only 5 foot 2 and i have sprinters legs from...3 years ago they dont go away i guess :( and my thighs are fat. which ruins all my plans. i just really got into fashion last year thats when i noticed how chunky my legs are...i wear skinny jeans every single day and its SO hot. what should i do? what do i wear? my legs look so unproportionate! one of my friends was even like WHOA! your calves are HUGE! i can put my thumb and middle fingers in to an oh shape and thats how big my calves are. my ankle is only my thumb and middle finger plus a pinkie. im not confident about my legs at all. i have stretch marks on my inner thighs. :p advice. anything. please.

I see the deceased loved ones of freinds through my freinds bodies...?

It sounds confuseing, but the moment this happened i've been searching online for answers. I was at a freinds hows and we were in the basement just talkin and hangin out, she was telling a story sso i was listening intently and looking at her when all of a suddon it was like a pulse went through the space between the 2 of use, she didnt see it but it looked as if a person dropped something in water, like a ripple effect only of light and in the space between us. At first i ignored it but then a noticed wut looked like a thin film of light overlaping my freinds body so i starred at it for a while and it starting forming into a person. I kept watching and it went through about 3 phases a twisted lookin corpse, an emaciated woman and a beautiful women. I explained to my freind what i saw and she showed me a picture of a family freind whom she was extremely close to who died, when she died she was extremely skinny but in the picture she was the beautiful women i saw overlapping my freind.

I bought a Kawasaki bayou 300 & I can't get it to start.?

I purchased a 1988 Kawasaki 300 Bayou & the seller told me it acted like it ran out of gas & would not start back up. The carburetor was gummed up & full of water so I drained & cleaned the tank. I put a rebuild kit in the carburetor & I am getting fire but it still will not start. The battery is dead so I am using the pull start to try & start it but I am just pulling till I just about p out. Did I waist my money or is there something I am missing? Any help would be appreciated.
