Band advice!?!?! PLEASE ANSWER!!! NOT A WASTE OF YOUR TIME!!!!?

my rock band is starting their practices tomorrow. i'm the lead vocalist. i've never taken voice lessons, but i consinder my voice deep and melodic. i was ununamously elected by my band to be the vocalist. i can bang out a few chords on guitar too. one of my friends plays guitar and is making a CD. another of my friends is going to learn the B i have laying around, and HAS taken voice lessons, but decided i sing. between the 3 of us, we have 2 electric guitars, 2 acoustic guitars, 1 electric B, 1 microphone and 3 amplifiers.. we're definetly punk rock, probably something like . we are all fans of bands like NOFX, decendants, rise against, offspring, AFI, dropkick murphys, blink-182, bouncing souls, green day, anti-flag and black flag. what advice do have as far as how to practice, where to go in terms of orginality, what equipment we might need? much apprieciated.
