Some people in my husband's family p rude comments to me about our cat and no kids?

These people are hopeless... Ignore them. There's nothing you can do. If you have tried explaining yourself and they know the reasons, yet continue to make such ignorant remarks - there's no help for them. Be glad you are smarter than they are.
