What all grounds can I sue on besides breech of contract?

i rented a dora character for my daughter's party. i paid a $75 deposit to confirm my date and time for the character a month prior to the event. i signed a contract and did everything to hold up my end of the obligation. the company i went through stopped all communication with me until the actual day of the party. i was then told that he had not heard from the lady that was due to show at my party in over three weeks and that i should get over it and just move on from the fact that she was not going to show up. the entire party was ruined and i want to know what all grounds i can sue on?
