I bought a Kawasaki bayou 300 & I can't get it to start.?

I purchased a 1988 Kawasaki 300 Bayou & the seller told me it acted like it ran out of gas & would not start back up. The carburetor was gummed up & full of water so I drained & cleaned the tank. I put a rebuild kit in the carburetor & I am getting fire but it still will not start. The battery is dead so I am using the pull start to try & start it but I am just pulling till I just about p out. Did I waist my money or is there something I am missing? Any help would be appreciated.

How would maggots get inside a wheelie bin?

i put my wheelie bin out for the bin men on monday morning....ive just gone out to collect it now and i noticed it was outside someone elses house...i wheeled it back to mine, opened it to put rubbish in and saw a load of maggots in the bottom of the bin yuk yuk yuk?! now how would they get there...inside a wheelie bin with a lid on....surely someone would have to have out them there?

I agree, I never got that myself that is one of the dumbest "sports" there is! last night my friend and i went to a party, i had been drinkin and my friend had 1 beer so she drove home.. she ended up gettin pulled over for flashing the lights wen putting on a turn signal. so she gets a dui, and the officer asked my age and my name. he didnt give me any kind of paper, he didnt check my id, and he didnt even look at my cars registration. so i have no idea what to think right now should i be worried about anything?

Is it bad to join a Frat in college?

Okay in all honesty i am a good student, I got into University of Texas at Arlington as a freshman and i already have 12 credit hours, im already a pharmacy technician as well. I want to become a pharmacist one day. The pharmacy program at Austin interests me and also its a party city so you cant go wrong with that :D so i will be going there hopefully next year then i can work my way into the pharmacy program. But really i have never been much of a nerd or anything, i am a bit shy and its hard to meet people sometimes, well a frat would help me with that i believe. And then the other reason i want to join a frat is because of course i wanna party...lol so is this a bad idea? Is it possible to be successful in college and be in a frat? I mean i want to at least have a little fun. Oh and will it look good on my transcript to Transfer to Austin?
