Normal menstrual while pregnant?

I have been having a normal period for the past few months, with the exception of this month. But I was just told that I am pregnant (not sure how long yet). I am still on my period today, but the first 2 days it was real light pink and spotty. Today, it is a little heavier but still light. It is def not a normal period for me. I just found out today that I am pregnant. I have terrible pain and a fat belly. I thought it was all from the menstrual symptoms. Has anyone else experienced periods throughout their pregnancy? Is this okay, or should I be worried?
